Statement on conflict minerals

Sustainable action is the basis of our business decisions and our corporate values are the ethical framework within which we  want to act and remain on the road to success. We consider compliance with applicable laws and internal policies as a basis for our integrity and to be essential to our business.

The Blohm Jung GmbH company is not listed on the US Stock Exchanges and therefore is not legally obliged to comply with the requirements of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission published in August 2012 and submit the conflict mineral report. Nevertheless, we continue to follow due diligence in the supply chain. After all, like many other companies,  we  are aware of the problem that products and components purchased from suppliers may contain minerals from conflict regions.

We have implemented a unified corporate-wide process to determine the use, sources and origin of conflict minerals in our supply chain. Close cooperation with our direct suppliers helps us to implement these measures. Where necessary, we work with suppliers to minimize risks and, in addition, ensure that we continue to act responsibly in procurement while building on proven and established management processes.

The Blohm Jung GmbH company is guided by the "OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas" for the development of corresponding due diligence processes. Above all, a due diligence review of the risks in the mineral supply chain is intended.

With these measures, we create the best possible transparency for our customers who are subject to the requirements of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission .
